I love my old video camera, but it is so hard to get vids online. Today the postman should be delivering my new Canon FS200 and hopefully this digital little blue baby will make things a bit easier. Stay tuned for videos form the House of Oj!

This weekend on a spontaneous trip to Ikea, I finally purchased these cutesie cups and napkins that I have been wanting for some time now. They are so funky and adorable, just perfect for the House of Oj! Just in time for our Midsummer's Eve table setting.

If I were you I would run to Ikea and pick some up for my own domain. They come in orange, too.

Yesterday while flipping through my new copy of Mama, I found an ad for this company. I love it. I want to buy the pants and the dress for Elzora and Starla of The House of Oj! And Mama Jenna would love to have this beautiful painting. I can't stop thinking about Spökfrö.

Dear Fabulous Readers,

Welcome to the House of Oj! On this day I begin to build my empire. Well, not really but I have always wanted to write those words. And who knows, today could be the beginning of something very big. I just have a feeling.

I don't know what made me start this blog today. I don't know what it will become. I do know that I need a place to publish all the fantastic discoveries I make as I travel, eat good food, page through magazine, raise my children, drink coffee, enjoy wine, shop, adore my boyfriend, love the earth, support my friends and family, reside in Sweden, wait for California to legalize same-sex marriages and become an entrepreneur.
